The Special Edition Piccola is designed for Minitab development and production. The Special Edition cams are manufactured to accept the unique Minitab tooling design which is readily available by any tooling provider. Single tip development to multi-tip production changeover is performed within minutes. The dual paddle feeder system helps maintain uniform die fill for poorly flowing materials and the gravity feeder is available when product is limited.

 

The Special Edition with The Director data acquisition and analysis system will shorten development time. Detailed analysis of individual compression events enhances the understanding of the compaction process. Compaction Profiles are generated in minutes.

 

The Director data instrumentation transducers are also custom designed to measure the low required force levels while ensuring the resolution and accuracy needed.

It provides an 11 to 17 station B and D tooling press with 10 tons of compression force, PLC controls, and can produce up to 54,000 tablets per hour.
